Tom Savini Crowned “The Godfather of Gore”, Tom began his career as a makeup and special effects whiz, on such features as “Dawn of the Dead” and “Friday the 13th”. After over a decade as a makeup genius, Tom focused more energy into directing and acting. Probably his most notable performance was playing Sex Machine in the Tarantino / Rodriguez horror film “From Dusk Till Dawn”. A true lover of horror, Tom has written books and started his own school for makeup and special effects, makes numerous appearances at various events, designed a haunted attraction in Pittsburgh, PA all while acting, directing and creating his own episodic series “Chill Factor”.
